Why do people pronouce 'football' (soccer) as 'fUtbol!!?' It's pronounced football like we, here in America, say football, as in American football. It's pronounced fUtbol in countries to the south of us because of how it's spoken in their language and it really bothers me when Americans pronounce it like that because of their American football ego bullshit.

I served four guys, who were close to my age, from Europe tonight. Each from Sweden, France, Holland, and England. We talked about football (soccer) and getting into this conversation I was fortunate enough to witness Euro's argue about the game = Priceless. Fondue culture; and this was an appropriate subject because I made them swiss fondue. I learned some of the small European fondue quirks they have. We talked about the U.S. and where I enjoy visiting the best. Just a lot of small talk. It's crazy when I meet people from Europe. I get this great feeling there is something over there I really need to be around. I think about how different their lives much be from mine. I mean they still eat, sleep, piss, work, etc but the way things are handled and viewed all around them must be different. Even on my way home I was listening to a band from Poland and it was like the "sound" from this band stood out even more compared to before. Something I never payed much attention to in the past as I did tonight. I'm probably sounding a little wack, but I really need to get the fuck over to Europe. That's all.

Cradle of Filth was amazing tonight. They're always amazing live. Although I wasn't very comfortable with the blonde haired guitar player because he didn't fit the band or the mood. He'd fit better with Dragonforce.

Taking the "Tips and Sips" certification test so I can legally serve alcohol. The test consists of 9 sections. Sections 1 - 8 are split up into 2 parts with a 3 question quiz at the end of each [part]. If you miss any one of the quiz questions, it restarts the section and you have to wait 10 minutes in order to retake that perticular quiz. Not to mention each part already takes 10 minutes to read through. Section 9 is the "Final."

Fuck that test! I just wasted 3 hrs of my day.

how much I love football (soccer). It's my life and it's already at a wonderful start.

I'm also the best man at my bestfriends wedding and I'm completely, 110%, terrified to do the "best man speech." A few of you know I wear many hats but public speaking is NOT one of them! I know what I'm saying and it's not too much, but I feel that it's not good enough for them. It's not very "heart felt" because I have a hard time expressing feelings, but I'll just have to get it over with. I think I'm more nervous and stressed than the bride and groom are. word.

My chinchilla who mauled it's father a week ago was mauled by my cats just the other day from under the door. The cats sometimes reach under the door and scratch at the floor, but they were successful in getting ahold of the chinchilla this time. He has a scratch on his mouth and the skin on the top of his right hand was completely torn off. I've been putting band-aids with some healing cream, given to me for the other chinchillas chest, on it. Hopefully he's gonna be ok. He seems to be ok.

boo to having a zoo! but they're all good company. only if they'd clean tho.

One of my chinchilla's had emergency surgery lastnight on his chest and arm because he was mauled by my other chinchilla which happens to be his "son." I found him collapsed on the bottom of his cage and his wounds were extremely infected. I immediatley took him to the animal ER and they're keeping him for the next 2 days to make sure he's going to be ok. His temp is normal so that means the infection hasn't gone into his blood stream which is very good and I haven't heard anything since I dropped him off and that's a good sign too. I'm really hoping he's gonna be ok because he's my boy!!

I think it's funny when people talk shit after the person they're talking shit to walks away.

Example: A drunk Native American dude walked up to everyone outside the coffee joint 10 minutes ago and started yelling all this drunken Native American Unite stuff, with his fist raised high and proud, and everyone just sat quiet. As he started walking farther away, a few people started yelling, "I don't fucking care!," and like "yeah man, cool dude!"

I bought some dope MAC (cosmetics) shit today. The blue lipstick is by far my favorite. yeah dope.

During [soccer] games, I'm usually the one yelling and screaming similar to crowds in England and other areas of Europe. You could say I get into it. Well at the game tonight I was unusually quiet just concentrating on the playing. But after 20 minutes of Salt Lake playing around with the ball directly infront of goal and not taking chances I yelled as loud as I could and out of frustration, "SHOOT THE FUCKING BALL!!" A few seconds later I hear, "excuse me, sir? excuse me?" I turn around and some guy with his wife begins to tell me to watch my language and I'm lucky his kids ran off and weren't around to hear what I said....I cut him off and said, "look, it's a little intense right not. From 7 to 9 is game time, not family home evening. If you don't want to hear it then stay home and watch it on television." He then said, "you must have personal problems being at the game all by yourself." I just lauged and ignored him because I can do things myself for the reason that I'm not insecure and I don't need someone following me around everywhere I go. He then started mumbling more about the situation and I turned and said, "look, your kids are gonna have to grow up and hear it sooner or later. So get over it and stop worrying." He mumbled more and then his kids showed up from chasing each other around the stadium. The stadium isn't a playground. Fucking Douche bag.

But as a bonus, during certain parts of the game soccer balls are thrown into the crowd and if you catch one you get prizes and shit. I ended up catching one a few minutes after this argument and gave it to a little boy and his father who were sitting close to that douche bag family. They were stoked.

Real Salt Lake came back from being down two goals, in the final 2 minutes of the game, to tie it 3 - 3. The game turned out to be alright.
